Josiah Viera’s love of baseball and love of life continues to inspire | E:60

In 2010, E:60 satisfied 6-year-old Josiah Viera, who was fighting Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome, an uncommon hereditary illness that triggers sped up aging in children. Josiah never ever let the illness specify who he was nor did he allow it avoid him from playing baseball, his favorite sporting activity. Initially, Josiah was the celebrity of Little League, where up to 1,000 individuals from the community collected to cheer him on. On December 24, 2018, Josiah died at the age of 14.
